ME jet fuel supply, 2nd behind AsiaPac, accounted for 31% of all seaborne jet fuel exports during 2025; for Europe, normal 40% of 1m tonnes supply from ME now 20%, partially replaced from US and NG due to: limited volume of certified EU standard Jet A1, smaller transatlantic vessels, competitive buyers in other regions; in East Asia, several countries cut or stopped jet fuel exports, esp China - one of world’s largest jet fuel exporters; airlines, expecting jet fuel supply shortages May-Jun continuing several months, already reducing scheduled flights.
